- Taxi's and Tuk Tuk's: Confirm rates before you hire.
- Thai greetings such as Hi, Hello, How are you? Welcome, Good
morning and goodbye are addressed as "Sawasdee"
- When you address someone in Thai, you should end each sentence
with "Krab"
if you are a man; and "Ka"
if you are a woman. For example "Sawasdee
Ka" is the way women say hello
in Thai; and "Sawasdee Krab"
is the way men say hello in Thai. |
